Endodontic or root canal treatment is the procedure by which removes the damaged pulp tissue from the affected tooth and seals the canal space with a special final filling material.
Root canal treatment can be classified into three types:
-Single-rooted: when it affects a tooth that has a single root and thus a single pulp canal.
-Birradicular: when it affects a tooth that has one or two roots, but always two pulp canals.
-Multirooted: when it affects a tooth that has two or more roots and therefore several pulp canals.
